A Special Welcome Letter from Dean Kimberly Jacob Arriola:
Dean Kimberly Jacob Arriola has written a personal message to welcome all incoming graduate students, sharing her excitement and encouragement as you join the LGS community.
Starting Friday, June 20, please join the Laney Graduate School (LGS) Student Affairs Team for a weekly Friday Open House Hour on Zoom from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time), which will continue until Friday, August 8.
Dr. Jennifer M. Cason, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Deputy Title IX Coordinator will be on hand, along with various LGS Program Assistants and current LGS students, to answer your questions regarding being a student in LGS and at Emory. Topics will range from Welcome Week and Orientation activities to living in Atlanta, student resources, and much more.
If you would like to submit topics of conversation during this hour, please email the Student Affairs Team at lgs.studentaffairs@emory.edu and share your ideas. We will do our best to be prepared to answer your questions.
